Who we are
Our mission: All of Scripture. All of Christ. For all of North Idaho and beyond.
North Idaho Bible Church is a small, independent church in Oldtown, Idaho. We are nondenominational and belong to no denomination or convention.
We are a Bible-teaching church. Sermons work through books of the Bible passage by passage, and the Bible is our final authority for what we believe and how we live. The church is led by elders, with the congregation’s voice in its life.
Membership is for those who profess repentance and faith in Jesus Christ, have been baptized as believers by immersion, affirm Part One of our statement of faith, agree to Part Two as the church’s teaching without causing division over it, and commit to the membership covenant. The elders receive new members after an interview.
Our Sundays
- Time
- Sundays at 10 AM
- Place
- We meet in a home for now. It is always heated, with plenty of parking.
- Worship
- Contemporary arrangements of beloved classic hymns alongside modern worship songs, Scripture reading, prayer, an expository sermon, the Lord’s Supper, and a benediction
- Kids
- Kids stay with their families in the service, and we provide activity pages for them.
- Meal
- After worship we share a meal, Sandwich Sunday style: breakfast tacos as the main dish, with potluck sides. Bring a side if you like, or just come hungry.
Easter 2027
Public weekly worship begins Easter Sunday, March 28, 2027, at 10 AM.
Because we meet in a home for now, Sunday gatherings are by invitation. Request an invitation.

What we believe
Scripture is our only final authority. This statement summarizes what we believe the Bible teaches; it adds nothing to it. Part One sets out the first-order truths of the Christian faith. We hold them without compromise, and we gladly receive as a brother or sister in Christ anyone who confesses them. Part Two sets out our convictions as a church: how we read the Bible, order our life together, and care for souls. Faithful Christians elsewhere hold other views on some of these, and we do not question their salvation over them. Members of North Idaho Bible Church affirm Part One. Elders affirm both parts and teach in line with them.

He preaches through books of the Bible and loves helping people see how each passage fits the whole story of Scripture.
